The IEOR department is extremely happy to welcome Prof. Vinay Kumar Bindiganavile Ramdas, who has joined the department on this Monday 6th October 2025.
Prof. Vinay Kumar obtained his Doctorate from IISC in 2021 and has held Postdoctoral positions at INRIA Center at Universite Cote d’Azur, France and at Eindhoven University of Technology, Netherlands.
Prof. Vinay Kumar’s research interests are in Network Science, Random Graphs, Community Detection, Percolation, and Communication Networks. His office is in Room 005 (ground floor, IEOR) and is reachable at vinaykumar.br@iitb.ac.in
Once again the department welcomes Prof. Vinay Kumar and wishes him a long, productive and happy career and life at IIT Bombay.
