Hrishikesh V, a Ph.D. student in the IEOR department, attended the Workshop on Polyhedral Geometry for Neural Networks, organized by the University of Technology Nuremberg, Germany, from March 16–20, 2026. The workshop brought together researchers working at the intersection of polyhedral geometry and neural network theory, fostering interdisciplinary discussions on the geometric foundations of neural networks.
The program included keynote lectures and contributed talks on topics such as expressivity and polyhedral representations of neural networks. It also provided valuable opportunities for interaction with researchers from diverse institutions, offering exposure to recent advances and open research problems in the field.
