Raghupati Vyas, a PhD scholar in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR) at IIT Bombay, completed a research visit from January to April 2026 at the Centre for Education and Research in Computer Science (CERI), Avignon, France. During this visit, he worked with Prof. Yezekael Hayel.
His research focused on mean-field vaccination games with heterogeneous behavioral agents. The work examined the interplay between individual decision-making and population-level dynamics, with particular emphasis on how behavioral traits influence equilibrium outcomes in epidemic settings. In particular, the study employed optimal control techniques to characterize finite-horizon optimal vaccination policies.
During his stay, he actively engaged in academic discussions with faculty members and researchers at CERI. He also presented his research work and received valuable feedback.
