PhD students Simran Lakhani and Debanjan Gangopadhyay along with MTech students Rijin Raj and Ishaan Mane from the department of IEOR attended the 6th Large-Scale Optimization (LSO 2026) summer school organized by IIT Delhi.
This summer school served as a great opportunity for the students to increase their knowledge about various topics in the field of Optimization and Decision Sciences. The LSO hosted speakers from various IIT's and IIM's and all these speakers were able to deliver really insightful sessions.
LSO 2026 also gave the students an exposure on how Optimization is being used in the industry. The students interacted and networked with various industry professionals deepening their understanding about the various challenges faced while solving real world problems.
