Debanjan Gangopadhyay, Hrishikesh V, Neeraj Kumar and Shashank Jain, Ph.D. students in the IEOR department, attended the Assortment Optimization Workshop, on the topics of Choice Modeling, Random Utility Models, Nested Logit Models, Markov Chain and their applications in Assortment Optimization, which deals with finding the optimum subset of products for a business to showcase or highlight to their customers, in order to maximize revenue. The workshop was organised by the Indian School of Business (ISB) at their Hyderabad campus, and was conducted by Professor Omar El Housni (Cornell University), from August 18–20, 2026.
