The team of four project members (Peddi Madhav, Vishal, Ketki Hulwan, Tanmay Goyal) visited the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation offices at Shastri Park, Mayur Vihar, and Karkarduma on a three-day visit to Delhi from 26-28 July 2023. The objective was to get firsthand exposure to their current operating procedures for managing the Timetabling and Crew Scheduling tasks, present the team’s progress and line of thought with them, and discuss and finalize the future plan for the development of the automation tool.

Kritika Karwasra, a PMRF Research Fellow at IEOR, IIT Bombay, presented a paper "System Analysis of Train Operations on Rail Sub-network with Mixed Traffic and Steep Gradient", co-authored with Prof. Narayan Rangaraj and Karuna Singh from Central Railways at the 16th World Conference on Transport Research (WCTR) 2023 conference held by CIRRELT University in Canada. Conference was held in Montreal, Canada from July 17 to July 21,2023.
