IEOR is pleased to inform that Prof. Sriram Sankaranarayanan from IIM Ahmedabad is visiting from April 10th, 2023 to April 21st 2023. Prof. Sankaranarayanan is an Assistant Professor at IIM Ahmedabad in the area of Production and Quantitative Methods. His research interest lies in solving game-theoretic and optimisation problems that include integer variables. In particular, he has worked on mixed-integer linear programming, complementarity problems and mixed-integer bilevel programming.

This year the IEOR day was celebrated on 1st April, 2023 at the Victor Menezes Convention Center (VMCC), IIT Bombay based on the theme “Digital Transformation for Operational Excellence”. Many leading experts from industry and academia presented and discussed their ongoing work and future challenges in the event.

Bheeshm Sharma, a research scholar at IEOR shortlisted for attending the Medical Imaging Workshop at Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru during 24-25 Feb. He also participated in the poster session, where he presented his work and got valuable comments and feedback from the audience and Judges. The workshop was conducted by Axis Bank Centre for Mathematics and Computing.
