Manoj Kumar, a research scholar from IEOR presented his work as a poster titled Decision Policy for Intraoperative Ultrasound Imaging for Brain Cancer at the 12th International Conference on Operations Research and Enterprise Systems (ICORES) in Lisbon, Portugal, held from 19th to 22nd February 2023. The conference primarily focused on the methodological and practical application of operations research, with an acceptance rate of 22% and participants from 24 countries.

The 61st Interim Convocation of the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay was held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 3.00 pm onwards in the Convocation Hall of the Institute. The event was live telecasted too and the recording can be found here. 

Madhu Dhiman, the research scholar at IEOR, attended the conference on Innovations in Nonlinear Control held at VMCC, IIT Bombay from 13-17th February 2023. 

K Geetha Bhargavi (MTech student, IEOR, IIT Bombay) attended Data Science Workshop (DSW) with Unilever 2023 held from 31 January to 2 February 2023 at Bengaluru. She was invited to present her MTech thesis work being carried out with the company collaboration in the workshop, on the topic Direct Dispatch Opportunity Prediction and Order Fulfillment models in the Supply Chain Optimization area with the guidance of Prof. Narayan Rangaraj, IEOR IIT Bombay.
 

Prem Kant (Research Scholar, IEOR, IIT Bombay) presented a paper titled CONSTRUCTIVE COMPARISON IN BIDDING COMBINATORIAL GAMES co-authored with Prof. Urban Larsson, Ravi K. Rai, and Akshay V. Upasany at the Combinatorial Game Theory Colloquium IV(CGTC4). He has also attended the Recreational Mathematics Colloquium VII(RMC7). Both conferences took place in Expo lab, S. Miguel, Azores, Portugal, from January, 23-25 and January 26-29, 2023 respectively.

Akash Saha (Research Scholar, IEOR, IIT Bombay) attended Research Week with Google 2023 held during 29-31 January 2023 at Bengaluru. He was selected to attend the Machine Learning Foundations track.
