Introduction to Python Worskhop

Dear all,

Introduction to Python workshop for IEOR students will be help on Sunday (13/08/17) in LC001 FROM 2.00 pm. This is a basic workshop, so it will be beneficial for those students who are interested in learning the basics of programming through Python and those would like to revise Python basics. Topics covered in the workshop are listed in the attached poster.

Participation of IEOR in TECHFEST 2017

Hello everyone,

The IEORSA council had a talk with the TechFest 2017 team and we have got a temporary approval for conducting an event (IEOR application based) during the TechFest. We now need to come up with a complete event design for a final approval. In this regard, we need your help and we are planning to come up with a team of students who would work towards making this event a success.We would take help from our faculty once we we are ready with a prototype.

Detailed meeting about the same once new semester begins!

OR Society of India - Greater Mumbai Chapter

Dear students,

The OR Society of India (Operational Research Society of India) has a Mumbai chapter.  This chapter is dormant, but needs to be revived, with some new members having joined and a lot of activity in our own institute.  We will be having a meeting in early January (perhaps January 9th) and if any of you is interested in participating in or helping in organizing this meeting, please contact me.
