The 58th Interim Convocation of Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay was held on Friday, February 28, 2020, at 2.30 pm in the Convocation Hall of the Institute.

The function was presided over by Dr. Lalit Kanodia, Chairman Datamatics Global Services Limited. M Venkateswara Rao, Puja Sahu, and Sasanka Sekhar Maiti were awarded their Ph.D. degrees.

IEOR Students Prateek Goyal and Ankush Kumar Singh presented demos on "Speech Enhancement and Movie Sentiment Analysis using Deep Learning" during IITB TechFest 2020 under TechConnect. TechConnect segment of TechFest is an exhibition that showcases undergoing research work in the institute to the general visitors of TechFest. The ongoing projects were presented with Interactive models for audience, which comprised of mostly students from schools and colleges.
