It was a platform specially for IEOR freshers to participate and outstrip stage fright. It was an event to build relationship in IEOR family between seniors and juniors also in 3- pillars of IEOR family namely, M.Tech., M.Sc., and Ph.D..
Like every year IITB PG Sports saw a good participation from IEOR. There were some highs and some lows in the many events that took place throughout the academic year. IEOR participated in many events like swimming, cricket, football, table tennis, etc. It was a great experience for all the players.

PG Cult is a huge cultural event exclusively for the Post Graduates of IIT Bombay wherein they get a chance to showcase their cultural skills in the following genres:
Mrs. M. Shenoy, Superintendent in the IEOR office from July 2009 onwards, and having the distinction of being the first staff member of IEOR, retired on 31st December 2012. She took charge of the department office at a time when the IEOR community was still quite small. She was a key person in setting up the IEOR office, with a proper system for documents, stores, complaints, equipment, attendance and various other things.
IEORA has organized a Photography Workshop in the department. The workshop is handled by our PhD student Anirban. The Sessions were taken on 15th January and 23rd January.
2 Faculty members and 33 students of PSG Tech, Coimbatore visited IEOR, IITB as a part of an educational trip. IEOR PhD students Anu Thomas, Ketki Kulkarni, Niraj Ramesh Dayama. Goutam Sen and M.Tech student Mohd. Qavi told about their research and the connection between theoretical computer science and operations research. Prof. N. Hemachandra coordinated this program.
