MIP Workshop
The inaugural International Mixed Integer Programming (MIP) Workshop took place from December 2–6, 2024, at IIT Bombay, Mumbai, India. Simran Lakhani, a PhD scholar of IEOR, presented her work titled "Extending Services Optimally for a Bank" (co-authored with Prof Ashutosh Mahajan and the SBI team), at the 57th Operational Research Society of India (ORSI - 2024) conference held at the IIT Bombay, India from 12th Dec to 14th Dec 2024. The initial part of the talk was given by Rashda Khanam from SBI. She introduced the concept of extended facilities and their requirements to improve the bank's reach and attract new customers.
