"Divya Jyoti Bajpai, a research fellow at IEOR, IIT Bombay, presented papers "BEEM: Boosting Performance of Early Exit DNNs Using Multi-Exit Classifiers as Experts",  co-authored with Prof. Manjesh Kumar Hanawal at The Thirteenth International Conference on Learning Representations (ICLR) 2025 held at Singapore Expo, Singapore. The dates for the conference were 24 April 2025 to 28 April 2025.

Anand Kumar, Simran Lakhani, Nitish Kumar Dumoliya, Debanjan Gangopadhyay, Avi Roy Chowdhury  - PhD students from the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR), participated in the Workshop on Advances in Data-Driven Optimization, CDSA-IIMA 2025, held at the IIM  AHMEDABAD campus from April 23–25, 2025.  

Avi Roy Chowdhury recently presented paper titled "HIERARCHICAL HYBRID SIMULATION MODELING OF BACTERIAL DISEASE INFECTION", (co-authored with Prof. Jayendran Venkateswaran, and Om Damani), at the 12th Simulation Workshop 2025, held at the Mercure Rougemont Hotel, Exeter, UK, from 31 March to 2 April 2025.

Avi Roy Chowdhury attended the conference along with Prof. Jayendran Venkateswaran (member in panel discussion).

IEOR had a strong presence at the industry event organized by Gurobi in Benagluru (April 9-10, 2025).  At least twenty IEOR alumni were at the event (see photos on Day 1 and Day 2) and Ashutosh Mahajan from IEOR was an invited speaker (he spoke on nonlinear optimization models in design of water networks - ongoing work with Ph.D. student Nitish Dumoliya).  Narayan Rangaraj participated in a panel discussion on the second day.
